Cool apartment SP close2everything
Floor No.(with elevator)
|Address||Rua Francisco Leitão, 05414-020 Sao Paulo, Brazil|
I would say that the place has a cosy feel and charm to it. Lots of wood and warm colors and it is tastefully lit (no ugly white lights). The small balcony full of herbs and plants allows you take it all in and gets plenty of sunshine. Their is a double bed and an extra mattress downstairs as a spare bed. Beware, downstairs there are no curtains.
Plenty of great restaurants and bars can be found around the corner and we have some great suggestions for you.
The apartment has 24hour doormen service, so safety is assured. We also offer a twice a week maid service included. We also have a small gym in the building (don't expect too much). Last but not least, there are two bicycles with helmets available for use by guests.
The top floor of the building has a shared patio with a small swimming pool and lounge chairs.
Utilities that you will find in the apartment are a washer, kitchen, microwave, oven, internet, printer, cable tv, which includes NetFlix and HBO. The hot shower is gas heated and has plenty of water so you don't have to deal with those scary electrical things.
Subway stations are nearby as well as bus stops.
São Paulo is a nightlife city and if you like luxurious dining and clubbing, you'll feel right at home. We might even be able to get you on a guest list or two. Vila Madelena with all its restaurants and bars is 5 minutes by bicycle or 15 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk the other way you will find Rua Pinheiros with tons of restaurants also. If you continue on you'll find the Jardins neighbourhood.
We rent the place out in a kind of ad-hoc fashion, so I can't guarantee availability unless you contact me. The apartment will be available for sure between 26 september and 10 october
House rulesThis is an apartment with neighbours so loud music and heavy partying is not appreciated. The swimming pool communal area doesn't allow for the consumption of food or drinks.
The area is considered safe and I walk around at night freely but this is São Paulo and stuff does happen, so it pays to take some extra care and take a taxi at night. If you do find yourself in a mugging situation or a restaurant robbery, cooperate and make no sudden movements, even reaching for your wallet. If you don't resist you should be ok.
Be careful using bicycles on the open road. I recommend doing this only on the weekends. Use the bicycle lanes when available. On Sunday, they close of car lanes (ciclo faixa) exclusively for bicycles in large parts of the city. Beware that drivers here generally are not aware of bicycles and think they have the right of way.
If you use the bicycles please use the lock provided at all times. If you have to leave the bike unattended for an extended period please use the lock to attach the bike to something fixed to the ground
