Beautiful fully renovated cave house in Granada's Albaicin quarter, the house is 50 square meters and has two bedrooms with a very comfortable beds where you going to have very relaxing nights. The living room has a very comfortable sofa double bed and a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things you need to prepare your meals, making your stay easier and perfect(fridge, microwave, cooking utensils ...). There is also a bathroom with beautiful tiles and a walking in shower.
The most remarkable feature of these houses is that throughout the year keep the same temperature (18-20 ° C) giving the impression of coolness in summer and warmth in winter. Yet the house has heating and has also internet connection, television and other amenities for a pleasant stay.
Tranquility Alley Boli, a typical street in the Albaicin, out of any type of noise, makes the stay in this cave house is very quiet. All this combined with the unique feeling of sleeping in a beautiful cove rehabilitated.
In Granada you can visit the most important places by foot, the house is very well located and you will not have transport problems. Ideal to discover the culture and local cuisine.
Very close to the house, just 100 meters taxis and bus stop (bus Alhambra, Albaicin, lines 31-32), shops, bars, markets, souks and Albaicin supermarkets. The viewpoint of S. Nicholas is only 200 meters. The coast of Granada is about 30 minutes’ drive and Sierra Nevada about 20 minutes.
Hope to see you soon!
The house comes clean, it makes sense to return it in the same state.

Exactly like shown in the pictures and spotlessly clean. Great view to Alhambra and perfect location in the beautiful Albayzin. Michael lives next door in case of any questions. I would not bring a big suitcase next time as the stairs are very narrow. Highly recommended!
The apartment is U.E. no 50 square meters, but rather 35 sqm. It is located in Granada's old town in the district Albaizin / Sacromonte. We had rented a car from Malaga, but could not go in the quarter with this, because it is only for residents and taxi drivers freely accessible. Walk from the nearest public car park about 10 minutes. The kitchen is minimalist. A stay not really possible with child. There is no coffee machine, no kettle and otherwise did not miss too many corners. Miguel we have seen only the keys, then no longer (which we found pleasant). The apartment has no balcony or terrace, as it was in the equipment description. Of this we were more than disappointed, because we rented the apartment because of the terrace described as "cozy" and other apartments had left it aside. The price of 62 € / day was therefore not appropriate. Also located just below the apartment a flamenco bar, from which it every night over boomed to our. Guests of the bar were also incredibly noisy when leaving, so that you were woken up frequently. All in all we regretted to have rented the apartment, unfortunately! Beate and Klaus
Charming apartment in barrio Sacromonte. A bit hidden into the streets which makes at difficult to find. No quite reachable by car. We had to park it about 1,5 km distance. The apartment is really one with the barrio: same interior and exterior, practical, magnificant view. The Alhambra is great to see and the Sierra Nevada. Cross the street and you are in the middle of the Albyzin. Walk down and you're near the Darro river. It is easy to make contact with Miguel, he always respond.
I have to say that the nights were terrible. Not because of the flamencoshow very close to the apartment (it stops 00:30h), but noisy people screaming, shouting and singing through the night. Between 2:30h and 5:00h we could not sleep at all (both nights thursday and friday). Very dissapointed about that point (and the car) because the apartment is lovely.
The Alhambra views are really stunning to see by day and night. Apart from this we enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. It is nicely designed with lovely paintings on the wall.
We walked from the station but that's not a very good idea. The street is very hard to find so at last we took a taxi.
After you have found the place it is an easy walk to the centre as well as the Albayzin and Sacromonte.
We did not see very much of our host but when we met him he was very nice.
We hope to come there again and can surely recommend the place.
Thank you Miquel.
stayed in three of Miguels apartments, all of them in best old-town position and very clean; they are individually equipped, each with a special delight: an overwhelming view, a commodious partition or beeing an inventive calm cavern;
recommend them all with their artistic touch and lovely details, would always come again...
Michael is a great host and the apartment is in a provilegiada situation. The views from the front door are beautiful with just opposite the Alhambra. The location is perfect to explore Granada and culture.
The apartment is very cozy and clean.
Is a very nice place to visit again, the house is rather hidden if the place is unknown and 7 minutes you can park your host Miguel was very correct and for a weekend is not bad
Wonderful apartment in fantastic location, lovely terrace overlooking the Alhambra phenomenal evening magical.
Very pleased with our stay in the apartment of Michael. All very clean and with wonderful views of the Alhambra. Miguel was very friendly and always willing to help.
Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 days, not enough to enjoy this very special place. Miguels flat is a beautiful hideaway in the midst of the roofs of Granada. The views are amazing, the Alhambra on one side and the old town to the other. The fact that two sides of the flat have glass walls allows for this panorama to unfold. (It has blinds to allow for privacy too) A pleasant hill breeze made the place nice and cool, but for people who like it cooler, there is air conditioning too. September is the perfect time to enjoy this region, it is hot durung the day and balmy in the evenings. We came home feeling totally relaxed and wish to return and feel the magic of this place again soon.
One word if caution - be prepared for some steep steps - I would come with lighter baggage next time or take a backpack rather than suitcases. The location is accessible by car, but as it is a medieval town we would recommend to leave the car outside the city and use taxi and busses. You wont need it, one can walk everywhere and the Alhambra bus 31 and 35 pass close by and run frequently.
