Very nice Appartement near to Sacre Coer... just 10 min by feed. Kitchen serves everything for cooking everything. Huge rooms and comfortable bed.
Previous tenants did not leave when we arrived... But this was not fault of Sarah/Sandra, who wellcomed us in a very nice way.
We found appartement without problems. Also entering with the door-codes wasn't a problem at all. Everything clean.
We would return everytime!
The hosts have succeeded in creating a cosy feeling by choosing a warm decent colour for the walls, putting up wooden furniture, and removing paint from doorframes and plank floor, we went in and felt at home, the photos are true.
You will be in the fourth floor overlooking a spacy backyard and see the sky, it's pretty light in there.
For the third person tested the sofa in the living room we can tell: bed's are really comfortable and not too soft, we slept very well.
Being there at the beginning of december with outside temparatures around 1°C in the night we had been curious about heating, but the small heating device in the living room did the job well, for all of the flat.
Setbacks had been the heating did not work in the bathroom, so it's a bit colder there, but not severely (device had 1 knob being removed) and hosts did choose a washing machine with a width of 60cm, witch makes you sit cramped on the toilet being cooled down from leg to shoulder, better be a lean person. A 45cm toploader at the opposite wall would have been the better choice.
The neighborhood is dominant african/arabic and represents those in paris with the small income. Streets are someplace littered with waste, but he next morning have been cleaned, and after all: Is St.Germain's streets really Paris? But you can feel safe because at the entrance there are two heavy doors with double keypad access.
Up the road is an arabic diner where you get couscous late at night or lefthand down a turkish one. Righthand down Rue Leon is a local french restaurant where you can dine for a very decent price compared to Paris standards.
Three blocks uphill at the corner of Rue de Clingnancourt/Rue Muller there is a local small french cafe with no tourists in it and a good coffee/croissant, a bakery besides offering pretty good 'traditionel' /baguette.
Down that road RdC righthandside there is a cool bar to get the days last drink.
The hosts have been very easy and cooperative in setting up appointment for key handover.
After mastering paris traffic chaos during the day, surprisingly in this area nearby we've found a parking space every night .
So that's what is about this place - it's affordable, you may start the day in the small cafe, and when coming home late at night after exploring the shiny parts of Paris, you sleep well.
neighborhood drop gold Paris 18 ° apartment 30 rue Myrha. Regarding the way to get to the apartment for a first visit to Paris although not far from Montmartre neighborhood is not great. Access to the apartment is through a wooden door facing the street with a code then cross a yard more or less work and get into a 2nd building. Here are some common aging, fit 4 floors to access the location. The apartment is simple locks the front door are among three difficulty locking the latch of the door is non-existent. The furniture is minimalist, but not cable tv dvd player but no DVD ... Living with children we'd run to be returned to the apartment to 8:00 p.m. ... However great bakery around the corner. That it was a little disappointing we did not feel comfortable in this area with children and because of that no visit at night.
Good apartment in a central location just right for 4 persons and two nights. No problems with the keys.
We enjoyed staying in the appartment. It s a nice , payable place to relax and then do your things in Paris, I might do it again once...
A simple but well maintained apartment. Good shower / bath / toiletverziening. Kitchenette with a pretty complete inventory. Warm welcome with clear information. And within walking distance of the Sacre Coeur. An ideal apartment for a few days Paris, extremely cheap.
Een eenvoudig maar goed verzorgd appartement. Goede douche/bad/toiletverziening.
It was nice, the district is ok. Is just a working-class neighborhood. Too bad that right next door is a mosque, and it was Ramadan ist.Ausserdem the drain of the sink was broken, so we had to wash in the bathroom. The apartment is nicely furnished, but also small and spartan. The house is in need of renovation and the stairs can make you scared. The road from the Gare du nort about 10 minutes, shopping can be seen everywhere in the corner. Close to the railway tracks in the morning is also a great vegetable and fruit market. Metro stations are also accessible in 3 min. I can not share the description below of a user, that one looks typical Paris over the roofs and has a good view, you look more into a courtyard or in the neighboring apartments.
The apartment is really lovely, although kitchen was fairly small (as was the bath!), but a perfect size for the two of us. In a nice, lively area close to the centre and with easy access to all the main monuments and sights, especially the Sacre-Coeur which is a 5-10 minute walk away(!) Sarah was really helpful both before and after arrival and would definitely recommend this apartment.
The apartment has a great location, either on foot of the Sacre Coeur neighborhood or quickly to the metro, the welcome by Sandra was very friendly. However, the apartment was only superficially clean. After the toilet lid was lifted, was to see that was not cleaned for a long time there. Although we paid 30 euros for cleaning, we first had to make myself a bit clean, so it was usable. The apartment was different when she was pictured on the internet!! As it turned out, this was accidentally given to another and we had with Sarah only even phone that us means a move to the other apartment on the second day too much effort, especially since we should be purely move there, although there are other guests had their stuff! But Sarah was friendly and understanding
L '"Great apartment" Montmartre is on the fourth floor, (prudently avoids the announcement to tell now) without a lift and far far more than 10 minutes walk from the Sacred Heart, mentioned in the ad. We have not found any waiting despite a contract that dictated the dates. We have created a stir in a building in order to contact the owner who candidly said he had confused the date of arrival. Finally came the key and, surprise, home filthy, dirty laundry of a tenant who had preceded us. Drop the suitcase went off to find the evening, as we left the house despite the reassurances of the morning. Strongly not recommended unless you want to waste your precious time to the nearest metro, and especially if you have children or people who can not deal with 4 floors of wooden steps.
