Reviews of this property
The apartment is very nice, clean, light and warm, no noisy neighbours It is situated not far from the center so we could reach all the sightseeings not only by a private car but also by the public transport. Our vacation was perfect and our stay at this comfortable apartment was one of the points that made it so good.

We really enjoyed our holidays in the appartment. Everything was clean. The studio ist light-flooded, the kitchen is well equipped. The appartment is situated in a good area: View at the Saski Park, Metro and bus is near to the building. Everything is within walking distance: the old town, the central station, parks and supermarkets. You never have to take the public transport. The perfect stay for active persons.
The furnishing in the studio is modern and adequate. We really loved the big bathtub!
The hirer, Jerzy, is very friendly. He can speak english. He is very trustful and on time!
We absolutely recommand this studio in Warsaw. We had a perfect time.
Very nice apartment on the sixth floor of a large apartment block. Three elevators. Public library on the ground floor and a little shop.
Plenty of shops around including a '6-23' across the road (Polish version of a 7/11). Mind you it shuts at 10 pm on a Saturday night. Great for nipping out for a few bottles of beer (about 58 pence each for 500 ml) and snacks.
Up the road is a market, great for fresh fruit and veg and meat/ sausages. Apartment is 15 walk from the Palace of Culture and Science (huge Soviet era building that looks like the Empire State Building). Half hour walk to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Pretty central to everything really.
Flat screen tv. Washing machine. Huge bath with shower attachment overhead. Bath towels provided. Endless hot water.
Kitchen includes gas cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and electric kettle. Crockery, cups, mugs, cutlery, saucepans, frying pan, sieve, colander, utensils, bottle opener etc. Everything you need. Teatowel, washing up liquid, scrubber sponge all provided.
An electric toaster would be nice though. There isn't a grill on the cooker so we couldn't make toast for breakfast.
Double bed very comfy with extra duvet and pillows in the wardrobe if you want them. Loads of hangers provided in the wardrobe.
The tap water is safe to drink in fact better than here in England. Supermarkets dotted around. Groceries not particularly cheap, slightly more expensive than in Britain, but that's what the locals have to pay.
Bottled beer is cheaper for 500 ml than tinned beer for some reason i.e. a bottle of excellent Zubr lager is 2.39 zl for 500 ml whereas a Zubr 500 ml tin is 2.99 zl in the same shop. Cigarettes anything from 11.60 zl upwards for a pack. There is a cigarette shop at the market up the road that is definitely the cheapest. A carton of 200 long Superkings type cigarettes (Polish brand called P & S) was 118 zl (using the Post Office exchange rate I got at 4.1 zl to a quid that's £28). Warsaw airport duty free cigarettes 135 zl upwards a carton.
Cash machines in Warsaw give a better exchange rate than getting your currency in the UK (in February about 4.59 zl at the cash machine). Most have an English translation.
In the Old Town (the really touristy bit) check prices of drinks first before you order. We went in an Italian restaurant with a special lunchtime menu of 19 zl each for two courses (soup and lasagne). I asked for a bottle of still water to drink. Got well and truly stiffed at 25 zl (six quid) for one bottle of water. Mind you the food really was good, amazing home made tomato soup.
Overall a nice holiday for a few days. The Poles are generally very friendly, particularly the younger generation. A lot of younger Poles tend to speak English also. Older generation Poles usually don't speak English and most don't really want to know you. That's what 45 years of communist oppression makes you I suppose. They do tend to push in queues.
The landlord Jerzy (pronounced 'Yershe') met us at the apartment with the keys. We rang him when we landed. Officially check in is after 3 pm but he let us in early. Very friendly and approachable guy. Top bloke. He invited us to text him anytime if we had any queries.
Things to do:
Go the the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science to the viewing area. Darned cold in February but great views. Tickets about 20 zl per person;
The Warsaw Uprising Museum...definitely the highlight of our stay. Awesome. We were in there two and a half hours. Really interesting and impressive. 20 zl ticket price per person. Lockers available with a 5 zl coin and also cloakroom. Mad in/out arrangement. All through one door. Thank god there wasn't a stampede;
Jewish Museum.....marvellous modern architecture building but I found the access security (security guards searching us and scanning bags) a bit excessive and the exhibits rather underwhelming. 25 zl per person ticket.
Taxis: We pre-booked airport taxis online before our holiday with the firm we always use. We did use a local taxi once in Warsaw as it was so cold walking. We got short changed unfortunately but we should have checked before we got out the cab.
GREAT APARTMENT! Central to everything. Book it.
Modern, spacious apartment in great location!
Another great stay in Warsaw with our excellent and reliable host. Many thanks once more. Certainly recommend!
Muchas gracias a nuestro anfitrión.
The studio is located near the old town (15 minutes walking distance), the metro station (5 minutes away) and bike renting points (Veturilo). Nearby there are some super markets and vegetable stores. Also on the ground floor of the building there is a mini market.
All the necessary equipement is found in the kitchen in order to prepare a meal. The internet wi-fi connection was working fine and the studio was generally clean and ready to stay.
Finally the contact with, Jerzy, was very good and he provided to us all the necessary information on how to get to the apartment.
Bardzo dobra lokalizacja.
